Operations Risk Manager

8Hexa Financial is seeking an experienced Operations Risk Manager to join our team. This role is critical in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks that could affect the company’s services and reputation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management within the payment services or financial sector and will be adept at creating strategies to enhance business processes and maintain regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to ensure that the company’s operations align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
– Conduct risk assessments on existing and new operational processes to identify potential vulnerabilities or issues.
– Monitor and analyze risks associated with the payment operations and recommend mitigation strategies.
– Collaborate with various departments to establish controls and conduct audits to ensure effectiveness.
– Lead incident response initiatives and provide guidance on issues related to operational risk.
– Prepare reports for senior management detailing risk assessment results and risk management plans.
– Stay updated on new regulations and industry trends affecting operational risk.
– Educate and train staff on risk management strategies and compliance requirements.
– Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
– Participate in strategic projects and initiatives to improve overall risk posture.


– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field. professional certifications in risk management are highly desirable.
– Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in risk management, preferably in the payment services or financial industry.
– Strong understanding of operational risk and compliance with the ability to apply knowledge in a practical and proactive manner.
– Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments.
– Proficient in using risk management software and tools.

Desirable Skills:

– Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance in the financial services sector.
– Proficiency in data analysis and risk assessment software.
