Project Analyst Intern — Systems & Automation
We are looking for a Project Analyst Intern — Systems & Automation to support internal project work, process improvement, and system development initiatives within a fintech and payment services environment. This role is suitable for students who are interested in business analysis, programming, automation, dashboards, internal systems, fintech operations, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in documenting existing operations workflows, including client onboarding, transaction processing, risk review, and reconciliation processes.

Help prepare workflow charts, process notes, user requirements, and simple technical documentation.

Support the development of simple internal tools, forms, dashboards, or automation scripts.

Assist in building or testing prototypes for transaction record management, client profile tracking, document checklist tracking, and reporting dashboards.

Support data organisation, Excel automation, database updates, or simple reporting functions.

Assist in user acceptance testing, including preparing test cases, testing results, and issue logs.

Prepare meeting notes, project trackers, progress updates, and user feedback summaries.

Work with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Management teams to understand business requirements.

Conduct basic research on fintech operations, workflow automation, and system improvement practices.

Support ad hoc project coordination, documentation, and system-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:

Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Financial Technology, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computing, or a related discipline.

Basic programming knowledge in one or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, VBA, or similar tools.

Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Able to understand business requirements and translate them into simple workflow, system, or reporting requirements.

Good documentation and communication skills.

Able to organise information clearly and follow up on action items.

Careful, responsible, and willing to learn.

Interest in fintech, payment services, automation, internal systems, or project coordination would be preferred.

Basic knowledge of dashboards, databases, workflow tools, AI tools, or low-code platforms would be an advantage.

Able to maintain confidentiality when handling company, client, and project information.
Learning Exposure:
The intern will gain practical exposure to fintech operations, business process improvement, system development support, automation, dashboard preparation, project coordination, and user testing.
This role may involve basic programming and prototype development, but the intern will not be solely responsible for production system deployment, system security, or final technical approval.
