Key Responsibilities:
 

• Handle daily accounting entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, payment transactions, client funds, and settlement balances.

• Prepare payment instructions and verify supporting documents before processing.

• Monitor incoming and outgoing funds and follow up on outstanding or unmatched transactions.

• Maintain accurate accounting records, schedules, and supporting documentation.

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cash-flow forecasts.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Assist with audit, tax, regulatory reporting, and bank-related information requests.

• Work closely with Operations and Compliance teams to investigate transaction or reconciliation discrepancies.

• Maintain proper segregation and records of client funds and company funds.

• Support the improvement and automation of finance and reconciliation processes.

• Carry out other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.
   

Requirements:
 

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

• At least 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.

• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may also be considered.

• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reconciliation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• Careful, organised, and able to work with high-volume transaction data.

• Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and confidentiality.

• Able to identify discrepancies and follow through until they are resolved.

• Good written and spoken English.

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage when dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients and business partners.

• Experience in payment services, fintech, banking, remittance, or financial services will be an advantage.
